Membership Fees, Competitions, Academy Closures & Cancellation Policy
Annual Membership Model
Soccer Hub operates an annual player development programme with membership fees collected monthly by subscription.
Membership fees are calculated across a full 12-month period and spread equally throughout the year to provide a consistent monthly payment for families. Fees are not based on the number of sessions delivered within any individual month.
Some months will contain more training sessions, fixtures and development opportunities than others, whilst some months will contain planned Academy closure periods. The annual cost of participation is therefore averaged across the calendar year and allocated on a pro-rata basis.
By joining Soccer Hub, parents and players acknowledge and accept this annual membership model.
Training Sessions & Attendance
Membership secures a player’s place within their allocated training group, squad or programme.
Monthly fees remain payable regardless of attendance and no refunds, credits or reductions will be issued for sessions missed due to:
-
Illness or injury
-
Family holidays
-
School commitments
-
Other sporting commitments
-
Personal circumstances
-
Any absence outside the control of Soccer Hub
Places within Academy programmes are limited and staffing, facility hire and operational costs are committed in advance based on registered player numbers.
Included Competitions & Match Programme
Soccer Hub is a player development academy and not solely a training provider. As part of the Academy programme, eligible players may participate in fixtures, leagues, festivals, tournaments and showcase events throughout the season.
The following are included within standard membership fees and do not require any additional mandatory subscription payments:
-
Junior Premier League (JPL) participation
-
Grassroots league participation
-
Standard grassroots tournaments and festivals
-
Friendly fixtures
-
Showcase fixtures organised by Soccer Hub
-
Competition administration and team management
JPL participation is included within membership fees and is not charged as a separate programme.
Membership fees will not be reduced during fixture breaks, holiday periods or off-season periods, nor will Soccer Hub seek to recover standard JPL or grassroots competition costs through additional mandatory charges.
Regional, National & International Events
From time to time, Soccer Hub may organise participation in additional events outside of the standard Academy programme, including:
-
Regional tournaments
-
National tournaments
-
International tournaments
-
UK-based tours
-
Overseas tours
-
Residential experiences
-
Invitational events
As these events may involve additional costs including travel, accommodation, tournament entry fees, transport, insurance and associated logistics, they are not included within standard membership fees.
Where Soccer Hub proposes participation in such events:
-
Full details and costs will be communicated in advance.
-
Interest may be gathered through a parent poll, survey or expression of interest process.
-
No family will be committed until costs have been clearly communicated.
-
Additional costs must be agreed by participating families prior to any booking or financial commitment being made on their behalf.
Only those families who choose to participate in optional events will be responsible for associated costs.
Planned Academy Closures
To support staff welfare, facility scheduling and programme planning, Soccer Hub operates planned closure periods throughout the year.
The Academy will normally close during:
-
All school half-term holidays
-
A designated period during the Christmas and New Year holidays
-
Approximately three weeks during the main summer holiday period
These planned closure periods are already incorporated into the annual membership model and do not qualify for refunds, credits or fee reductions.
Holiday camps, masterclasses and additional development opportunities may operate during closure periods and may be charged separately. Existing members may receive priority booking access and exclusive member discounts.
Weather, Facility Closures & Exceptional Circumstances
Soccer Hub will always endeavour to deliver scheduled sessions wherever it is safe and practical to do so.
Sessions will only be cancelled where:
-
Participation is considered unsafe.
-
Facilities or pitches are closed by the venue operator.
-
Severe weather conditions create a genuine health and safety risk.
-
Guidance is issued by the Football Association or relevant governing bodies.
-
Circumstances arise that are beyond the reasonable control of Soccer Hub.
Weather conditions alone do not automatically result in cancellation. Soccer Hub will make every reasonable effort to deliver sessions wherever possible.
Where sessions are cancelled due to weather, venue closures, health and safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control:
-
No refunds, credits or fee reductions will be issued.
-
Soccer Hub may, at its sole discretion, offer replacement sessions where practical.
-
Replacement sessions cannot be guaranteed.
-
If a replacement session is offered and a player cannot attend, no refund, credit or alternative replacement session will be provided.
Additional Products & Services
The following services are not included within standard membership fees and may be charged separately:
-
One-to-one coaching sessions
-
Small group coaching programmes
-
Masterclasses and specialist clinics
-
Residential experiences
-
Tours and international events
-
Academy merchandise
-
Player profiling and performance analysis services
-
Any product or service specifically advertised as separate from membership
Membership Cancellation
Membership may be cancelled by providing a minimum of one full calendar month’s written notice.
Notice must be submitted by email to the Academy’s designated contact address.
Membership fees remain payable throughout the notice period and will continue to be collected in accordance with the normal payment schedule.
No refunds will be issued for partial months, missed sessions or unused membership periods.
Elite Programme Kit & Equipment
Players participating within Elite Programme squads may be issued with match kit, playing kit or Academy equipment.
Any Academy-owned kit or equipment remains the property of Soccer Hub and must be returned within 14 days of cancellation, withdrawal or departure from the programme.
Soccer Hub reserves the right to charge a reasonable replacement cost for any Academy-owned items that are not returned, are lost or are damaged beyond normal wear and tear.
Academy Discretion
Soccer Hub reserves the right to amend schedules, venues, coaching staff, programme structures, competition formats and squad allocations where reasonably necessary for operational, safeguarding or player development purposes.
Participation in training does not guarantee selection for any particular team, fixture, tournament, showcase event or representative squad. All selection decisions remain at the discretion of Soccer Hub coaching and management staff.
